Human Performance Resource Network

The Kansas City Human Performance Resource Network (KCHPRN) has been forming over the past year.  Several association presidents have met and are in the process of identifying common interests and benefits to their respective members.  The following is vision statement, a list of associations that have begun to share information with one another and a website contact for many of the participants. Member organizations have agreed to develop methods for sharing calendars and communicating future events that support the common interest of human and organizational performance improvement. 

Vision:

To improve employee job satisfaction and organization effectiveness through the concerted activities of area professional organizations.

Mission:

To form a networking organization consisting of the Presidents of Kansas City area/regional professional organizations whose shared purpose is to maximize Human Resource utilization and organization effectiveness of our members through it's common planned efforts and activities.

Scope:

1. Each member's organization must be principally involved with maximizing HR utilization and organization effectiveness in one or more of the following professional disciplines:

  • Human Resource Management
  • Performance Improvement
  • Organization Development 
  • Training and Development

2. Each member and their organization must be committed to linking their organizations activities with other organizations activities for the common good of:

        • Our Professional Members
        • Our Host Associations
        • Our Host Employees
        • Our Host Employers
        • The Kansas City Community and other businesses.

Membership Criteria:

Each member (representative) currently serves as the president or the highest-level executive, within the scope of KCHPRN, of his or her respective KC area/regional professional association.
